Delete your account
This page explains how to request deletion of your account for the mobile application Case Diary for lawyers (the "App"), published by the developer shown on the Google Play store listing.
Delete from the app (fastest)
In the app, open Profile (tab) → Settings (gear) → Delete account. Enter your password to confirm. Your account and associated server data are removed immediately when the request succeeds.
How to request account deletion by email
- Send an email from the same email address you used to register the App account (this helps us confirm ownership).
- Address the email to: info@devorium.com
- Use the subject line: Case Diary for lawyers — account deletion request
- In the body, state clearly that you want your account and personal data deleted, and include the email address of the account to delete (if different from the sending address).
We will respond within a reasonable time (typically within 30 days) and confirm when deletion is complete or if we need additional information to verify your request.
What will be deleted
When we process a verified deletion request, we intend to delete or anonymise, where applicable:
- Your authentication account and profile information held for the App;
- Case and diary data you stored in the App (such as case details, hearing history, and related notes);
- Associated content tied to your user account (for example, documents or uploads linked to your account in our systems).
What we may retain and for how long
- Backups and logs: Residual copies may remain in encrypted backups or server logs for a limited period before automatic rotation. They are not used for active processing after deletion is completed.
- Legal requirements: We may retain certain information where required by applicable law, court order, or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. If so, we will restrict use to those purposes.
Deleting the App from your device
Uninstalling the App from your phone or tablet does not automatically delete your account on our servers. You must use the email process above (or any in-app deletion feature we may add later) to request server-side deletion.
